Las Pinatas Mexican Restaurant serves some of Chicago's most authentic mexican cuisine. A family owned restaurant, we've made many friends over the years with our excellent selection of Lunch and Dinner specialties. ¡But its the Margaritas that have made us famous!

~~We're located at 1552 North Wells Street, in Chicago's Old Town neighborhood~~. Convenient to both Brown and Red line EL stations with a public parking garage one block north of our restaurant. On-street parking is often available close by. Las Pinatas is open Monday through Thursdays 11 am until Midnight, Fridays and Saturdays 11 am until 1am and Sundays Noon until Midnight.

We invite you to stop in and discover for yourself why our "amigos" come back again and again.

Dear Friends:

Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Jeff. From Ohio. Discovered Las Pinatas on a trip to Chicago back in the 80's and have been a fan ever since. Created this tacky little website more than a decade ago out of love for literally my favorite Mexican Restaurant on Earth.

There's something about Las Pinatas. Sadly, I just learned today (25 September 2012) that it closed earlier this month.

Everyone at Las Pinatas has been like family to me, and I'm not even from Chicago. There's a reason this place has true fans!

I almost upgraded the site as my web skills improved, but a friend talked me out of it - for those of us who know, don't change a thing, right?

Personally, I'm hoping I've not had my last Las Pinatas Margarita.

Hi everyone. I wanted to take an opportunity to thank you for your loyal patronage on behalf of my parents. Especially those that came out on the final night. 30 years, a long and awesome ride.
